Garth Schmalenberg is dedicated to the continued and long term development of organizational leaders and relationships. He finds the unique growth potential of each client and targets his programs and services to cover their individual, organizational and relationship needs.

A former Managing Director for Atos Origin, North America, Garth operated from the premise that success would naturally follow the development of talent and implementation of best practices. By creating effective teams, ensuring continuous learning and implementing organizational processes, he created excellent results and developed a reputation of integrity with company executive, staff and customers.

As a follow up to his successful leadership experiences, Garth began to share his skills and successes with others through coaching, facilitation and training. Certified as a Professional Co-active, Relationship and Systems Coach, he has coached, trained and mentored Executives, Business Owners, Managers, Project Managers, medical professionals, families, couples and other coaches. His work has led to significant development of skills, improved communications, attitudes of service and pro-activeness and greater life and work fulfillment.

Garth helps clients get the most from themselves and others by coaching on development of personal, leadership and relationship skills. Through natural curiosity, he quickly learns the workings of his client's business, leadership, relationship and personal styles. His coaching is informed by his client's challenges, goals, dreams, values and vision. By combining coaching experience, knowledge of thinking and motivational approaches, practical experience in relationship development with his broad business experience he assists other leaders to rapidly hone in on solutions.

Garth has a B. Eng. specializing in Engineering Physics. He also has a natural love for learning and study on many subjects including Emotional Intelligence, Life of the Spirit, Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Relationships, Communications, Influence and Motivation, Decision Making, Psychology and Organizational Development. Garth’s formal education is rounded by business courses in Facilitation, Consulting, Finance, Project Management, Leadership, Coaching, Cultural Diversity, Conflict Resolution, Sales and Facilitation.

In addition to his coaching role, Garth is a board member of the CBBF (Canadian Baha'i Business Forum), an agency working for the development of ethical and socially responsible businesses. He provides workshops on Values Based Leadership, Co-leads the CTI Social Action niche, tutors Ruhi Studies - bringing spiritual principles to life and community service and is a facilitator for the FIION program - a fathering involvement initiative based on the Virtues Project™ and supported by the Ontario Government. He has also assisted in youth development projects by providing a peer coaching workshop to high-school students.
