She shows this through her family, professional, and
community volunteer work. She has a strong commitment to
helping others.
Chandra was married at 18 and completed her first
studies by graduating from Banking and Finance at NBCC.
She began her career at the local arena which offered
both adult and youth programs. Chandra then became a
Nurses Aide working at a senior citizens care facility.
During this time she set herself the goal of becoming
more financially stable. To achieve this she obtained
her RN in 1986 from the Saint John School of Nursing.
Chandra worked in the critical care and emergency
department for twelve years. During this time she
obtained her Bachelor of Nursing from UNB through
evening courses, had two children, obtained a
certificate in Mental Health and continued her nursing
career in community development working with families
through VON.
While working with Public Health Chandra helped create,
promote and teach the Healthy Learners
Program specializing in promoting wellness with
Charlotte County youth in School District 10. Chandra’s
personal, family and community involvement, as both a
volunteer and health care professional, has focused on
being a champion, not only for herself but for others
too. In her words, “I am motivated to learn.” Chandra
recently graduated from the Coaches Training Institute,
an International Coach Federation Accredited Coach
Training Program. This has brought Chandra’s career full
circle by promoting wellness on an individual basis.
Chandra, as your Life Coach, can help you build on your
personal strengths, goals, and dreams in both your
